It visually cut up the room, and we wanted it gone. Joe had the brilliant idea of moving it to the other side of the kitchen to hang above the stove in place of the cabinets we had to remove there. In order to move it, we had to cut a hole in the ceiling in both places, and use a frame and come-along to lower and re-raise the cabinet. Did I mention the cabinets are solid wood? Agriculture (CSA), your commitment helps us purchase seeds and supplies for the coming year— and secures your share of vegetables, fruit, flowers, and more in the coming season. We offer a limited number of CSA shares sold in order to provide well for our CSA members. PRODUCE SHARES Purchasing a produce share provides you with fresh vegetables and fruits, and options to add items like eggs, milk, soap, and flowers. Allow us to surprise you with your weekly box content, and enjoy the possibility of trying something new—or let us know what you really don’t care for, and we will leave that out. Shares are contained in a 1/2 bushel box. If you cannot use a full share every week, choose the bi-weekly share. This year we are planting herbs, lettuce, spinach, and other greens, carrots, beets, onions, radishes, okra, tomatoes, peppers, beans, squash, cucumbers, corn, melons, and a few other items. We deliver within 30 miles of Atwood, or you can pick up your shares at the farm for a discounted price. FLOWER SHARES You can choose a bouquet subscription to enjoy fresh flowers throughout the growing season, for your home or office, or order them for someone else. We grow sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias, cosmos, forget-me-nots, and many more. Flower shares can be purchased for weekly or bi-weekly delivery. Your flower shares can also be picked up at the farm for a discounted price. CUSTOMIZATIONS AND DETAILS We offer custom options for your CSA. Please use the comments box on the order form to note any fruits or vegetables you are especially fond of, or those you do not want, and we will do our best to honor your requests, but otherwise, we will choose fantastic, fresh items for you. Check this website weekly after you receive your share for delicious recipes and cooking methods to fully enjoy what you received. We expect our delivery season to last about 22 weeks between May and October, and more if possible. CSA members will be contacted by email and/or text message for delivery and pickup arrangements, so you must leave a way for us to contact you. Our fresh raw goat milk is available for on-farm pickup from May through December. Fresh eggs are available year-round and can be included in your CSA or picked up a the farm. You can even add a beautiful, fragrant bar of goat milk soap to your share! Fine Print: Joining a CSA involves some amount risk. We make every effort to price our CSA shares with your risk in mind, and we limit the number of shares offered in order to best fulfill our commitment. We are somewhat at the mercy of weather, animals, and other factors; however, we commit to work our hardest to bring you the most and the best products possible.
